What Makes Partek Different: Factory-Direct LVP, One Crew, One Warranty

When you buy flooring the usual way, you're paying a chain of middlemen: a manufacturer sells to an importer, who sells to a distributor, who sells to a retailer, who hands your job to a subcontracted install crew. Every link adds a markup — and, when something goes wrong, someone to point the finger at.

Partek collapses that chain. We import our own luxury vinyl plank and install it with our own crews. Here's what that actually changes for you.

We're the importer and the installer

Because we bring the product in ourselves and install it ourselves, there's no distributor markup and no subcontractor markup baked into your price. You're buying the same commercial-grade plank a showroom would sell you, minus the layers in between.

It also means one point of contact for the whole job — the people who sold you the floor are the people who install it and warranty it.

The spec is commercial-grade as standard

A lot of retail LVP is built to hit a price point, with a thin 6–12 mil wear layer. Our floors use a 20-mil commercial-grade wear layer over a solid SPC rigid core — the spec builders usually pay a premium for — as the standard, not an upgrade.

  • 20-mil commercial wear layer
  • SPC rigid stone core — no flex, no telegraphing subfloor imperfections
  • 100% waterproof through the full plank
  • Formaldehyde-free and low-VOC

Local inventory, confirmed per project

We hold flooring inventory in our Rockville, MD warehouse. During the quote, we confirm the selected color, batch, project quantity, and scheduling details rather than making a blanket availability promise.

One crew, one warranty, one number

We don't subcontract installation. Our own crews handle subfloor inspection, old-floor removal, installation, and trim — and the work is backed by a single 20-year residential warranty. If anything ever needs attention, there's no finger-pointing between a retailer and a separate installer; it's all us.

Old carpet removal is included

Old-carpet tear-out, pad and staple removal, and disposal are included in the documented turnkey scope. Tile or hardwood demolition and any condition-based subfloor preparation are assessed and itemized separately when needed.

Frequently asked questions

+ Is factory-direct flooring lower quality?

It's the opposite here. Factory-direct refers to the supply chain, not the product — you're getting a commercial-grade 20-mil, SPC rigid-core floor without the distributor and retailer markups, not a cheaper plank.

+ Does Partek use its own installers or subcontractors?

Our own in-house crews handle every installation. That's what lets us stand behind the whole job — supply and install — with one warranty and one point of contact.

+ Do I have to pay extra to remove my old carpet?

Old-carpet tear-out, pad and staple removal, and disposal are included in the documented turnkey scope. Tile or hardwood demolition and condition-based subfloor preparation may be priced separately.

+ What areas does Partek serve?

We supply and install across the DMV — Rockville, Bethesda, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, Potomac, Germantown, Chevy Chase, Kensington, and the wider Montgomery County, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia area.
