That's the right question to ask. Partek plank is formaldehyde-free and low-VOC — the specs that matter for indoor air quality. The horror stories you've read about were bargain-bin product built to no real standard; ours isn't that.

Our 20-mil wear layer is commercial grade — most residential vinyl is only 6–12 mil. Over a stone core it shrugs off furniture, heels, and dog nails.

True of all LVP — but you never need to. It's backed by a 20-year residential warranty, and if a plank is ever damaged we swap just that plank, no sanding the whole room.
